Business Websites and E-Commerce

A business website is often the first contact with your company. It should load fast, look good on every device, be found on Google and be legally sound – and be maintainable later without an agency.

More than a digital business card

A good website explains within seconds what you offer and for whom, leads to a clear way of getting in touch and answers the questions that typically come up before an enquiry. Structure and copy are worked out together; the design follows your brand, not a website builder.

Fast, secure and privacy-friendly

The websites are delivered statically and therefore load very quickly – without vulnerable plugins and without a server that needs maintaining. Fonts and images come from your own domain; trackers and ad networks stay out. This reduces the need for cookie banners and keeps the legal notice and privacy policy manageable.

Search engines from the start

Clean page titles and descriptions, a clear heading structure, structured data for businesses and offers, a sitemap and fast loading times are part of every website, not an add-on package. Content is structured to match what your customers search for.

Shops with a sense of proportion

For product catalogues with enquiry, smaller shops or selling individual services, lean solutions are built with payment providers such as Stripe. Large shop systems with thousands of items and complex logistics are not the focus – for those I will openly recommend a suitable product.

Frequently asked questions

WordPress or custom development?

For websites whose content changes constantly and where several people work on it editorially, a content management system can make sense. For business websites with a manageable number of pages, a custom-built, statically delivered website is faster, more secure and needs less maintenance. The recommendation depends on your editing effort, not on a preference.

Can I maintain the content myself?

Yes. Texts and data live in clearly structured files or a simple editing area, depending on the scope. You can make small changes yourself; if you wish, I take care of maintenance as part of ongoing support.

How much does a website cost?

That depends on the number of pages, the features and whether texts and images already exist. After a conversation you receive a quote with a fixed scope. Running costs are usually limited to the domain and hosting.

What about data protection and cookie banners?

Websites are built so that, as far as possible, no services requiring consent are needed: self-hosted fonts, no advertising trackers, privacy-friendly statistics. A cookie banner is then often not required at all. Which services are used is agreed before launch.

How long does it take?

A business website with a few pages is usually online within a few weeks – the biggest factor is how quickly content and approvals are available.
